I stayed in Serengeti safari lodge for one evening, it was magical. The lodge was gorgeous, with large windows and even a bathtub overlooking the open park. There is an… read more outdoor verandah , very pleasant and peaceful. The lodge is in the middle of park, guests are not permitted to walk by themselves to their lodges in the evening because of chance of wild animals. I had a Masai warrior escort me to my lodge. One of the best, magical places I’ve been.! Thanks

When we arrived, a hyena was waiting for us at the entrance of the lodge ! But as soon as it’s dark, a "ranger" escorts you to your room or to the restaurant.
Not too much choice at the buffet, but food was good enough.

I was here the night of my birthday and they even surprised me with a cake & a traditional game of eating the cake!
The bad – the food. However the food here is not good at all. I did not enjoy any meals. I only ate because I had to. I stayed here for two night. They need a new chef. Also the kitchen does not give you a breakfast to go box if you want to get an early start for a game drive, which is important for safaris. They make you wait until 6am and you have to sit in the restaurant for breakfast. The lunch to go box was bad both days, but when you’re hungry you will eat.

Tastefuly furnished and perfect for holidaying as a family.
At night we could hear the wildlife right outside the raised cottage and sunrise made them out to be zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffalo and elephants right in the place.
Food was awesome as well as the ever attentive staff. We need a repeat of this soon!

Serengeti Safari Lodge is an amazing place, no effort has been spared to make the hotel an oasis in the middle of the jungle. The rooms have unhindered 360 view… read more of Serengeti. We enjoyed majestic sunsets from our deck and wild animals came really close. The room was exquisite, a huge comfortable bed, shower, bath. we had all the amenities we would have wished for. The main common area is huge, there is the dining area, spa, swimming pool, well stocked bar. We were impressed that staff were very clean to sanitize all the surfaces, wear masks and regularly wash their hands.
We had an amazing weeklong vacation at Serengeti Safari Lodge and its 10/10 for them
