General Information About Tanzania

Tanzania has more land devoted to National Parks and Game Reserves than any other country in the world. More than 25% of the country’s surface is protected and therefore our National Parks have a very high concentration of wildlife.

It is very possible to see Elephant, Rhino, Wildebeest, lions, Leopards, Giraffes, Buffaloes, and Cheetahs, all within the space of an hour or less!

Our landscapes are stunning – Open Savannas with giant baobab trees, forested acacia tree areas, volcanoes and craters with highland rain forests, mighty rivers, lakes and wetlands full of Birds, Hippos and Crocodiles – and not to forget the tropical paradise beaches of Zanzibar and the Indian Ocean coast.

All of our wild camps and comfortable Lodges are situated in private areas of exceptional natural beauty, which offer guests an atmosphere of privacy and intimate isolation!
